Lately, I've been seeing loads of posts on FB and twitter from restaurants and bars that are offering a 'no-fuss' New Years Eve experience; no big prices, drink specials, or special seating times.
I must say that I am loving this trend, coming from someone who has never really gone to huge events for NYE, my opinion may be biased. I mean what the hell is the point of going to a restaurant, bar, or anywhere else for that matter and paying triple and sometimes quadruple the cost of any other night out. NYE parties are usually overcrowded, with shitty food, and over-served people (or so I've heard). I'll pass and continue to have NYE celebrations at home with my family with lots of good food and games, then I'll over-serve myself once the children are in bed; and after I've had my fill my commute is only up a flight of stairs.
So what are you doing for NYE, you staying in or are you going big??? I'd love to know, leave me a comment below or drop me a line on facebook, instagram, or twitter.
